Nominated for 1998 American Bar Association Senior Lawyers Division Pro Bono Award for providing outstanding pro bono legal services in a case of great public import having a broad effect upon the legal rights/interests of immigrants for Golden Venture representation resulting in new Federal legislation granting 1000 (now unlimited) refugees fleeing forced abortion/sterilization asylum in the U.S. each year.
